Timmins Local Immigration Partnership

The Timmins Local Immigration Partnership (TLIP) was formally established in March of 2009 through funding from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (now Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). TLIP works to assist our region in building capacity to achieve success in immigration related opportunities. The LIP provides a collaborative framework for the development and implementation of effective programs for the successful integration of newcomers choosing to live in Timmins.

Guided by the Local Immigration Partnership Coordinator and a multi-sectorial advisory council, TLIP's primary focus is to develop strong partnerships to drive efforts in creating welcoming communities for newcomers.
